Gardiner Greene Hubbard letters to S. S. McClure [manuscript], 1894, n.d.

In a letter, 1894 August 16, Hubbard writes about some photographs for publication. A magazine photograph of Hubbard in his library with a painting of Napoleon on an easel in the backgroaund is pasted down on the letter. In a brief note, 1896 July 20, Hubbard writes that he will be happy to see McClure. In an undated letter Hubbard discusses the publication in McClures magazine of some of the original Napoleon engravings by Delaroche, Isabey and David which he owns. Hubbard lists the engravings he has chosen and mentions William E. Curtis.
